Starting at our Nursery
At Happywoods nursery, we provide an inclusive environment, where all children are respected, cared and loved for their own individualities. The Nursery Manager and key person assigned to your child will work with you closely to ensure your child’s needs are fully met in order to provide a smooth transition progress to their new nursery life in accordance with our own settling in policy.

Learning
We provide a stimulating learning environment, where each day at Happywoods nursery the activities are carefully planned, further, to open plan resources in order to allow each child to plan their own imaginative play which support your little ones to meet the required learning goals within the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and prepare them well for their school readiness. Furthermore, to make their daily experience more rewarding, extracurricular activities are offered such as Spanish, Cooking, Yoga, Phonics and termly new skill.

Early Years Curriculum
At Happywoods, we ensure that from the minute a child walks into our setting, his/her learning experiences begin by being nurtured and assessed in line with Early Years Foundation Stage framework by providing daily routines, self-help learning, life-skill development, structured and non-structured activities.
Personal, Social and Emotional Development
Our children are provided with a safe, happy, and nurturing environment, where they can learn about self-respect, form friendships and develop their emotional well-being in order to become self-starters in play and develop a sense of confidence where their actions, likes and dislikes are respected and treated in line with the curriculum we teach.

Understanding of the World
Children are cherished for their own different cultural environments, and these are well celebrated at the nursery on a daily and yearly basis. To ensure understanding of the different cultures we all come from, we celebrate cultural yearly events, where children are taught about different celebrations, famous places of heritage, modern technology and how to maintain a sustainable environment.
